Throughout my latter high school years I suffered from debilitating insomnia, sometimes going almost three full days without sleep. When I discovered Her Everlasting Strength, I felt at peace, and was able to sleep fitfully, for the first time in a long while. CoC's music has an almost tangible reverence. There is so much love present in this music, a love I was eventually able to give myself.

The final part of the triptych, consisting of "Strength", "Her Strength" and now this tape. This is a tape with very personal
and sentimental approach that I don't even want to ruin the feeling with unneccessary words. Crown of Cerberus is the
project of Waddiah Rabbiah Chami (Koufar, Insurgent, Bachir Gemayel) and those who has ever heard Crown of Cerberus,
can more or less feel what to expect - melancholic and light synth melodies and a weird feeling in the air while this tape
spins over and over again. Excellent artwork created by Si Clark.

If you're looking for the sound of kindling dread and cold alienation, this is the album for you. I'm used to Deathbed Tapes' output being a sonic assault, and artists whose approach to sound is to invariably push it "into the red". This however is so much more subtler, it's gentler pace drawing-in curious listeners, enveloping them in it's all too intriguing darkness. Ben Harris
